What is Retained Recruitment?

Retained Recruitment is where the recruiter is paid a set fee for ongoing services. This is paid in stages as the recruitment project progresses – initiation, progress and completion.

How is the Retained Recruitment fee calculated?

The Retained Recruitment fee is calculated as a percentage of the successful applicant’s annual remuneration package, split into three payments – initiation, progress and completion.

For ease, this is calculated at the midpoint of the salary range (with any difference accounted for in the final invoice).

What if we have more than one role?

We’re happy to recruit for multiple roles with you. Talent Connect can offer negotiated rates and payment terms for multiple vacancies.

Who pays for recruitment?

Clients (businesses) who engage our recruitment services pay a fee (a percentage of the annual salary package for the role) for our services.

There is no cost to Candidates who apply for roles with Talent Connect.

What does guaranteed results mean?

We guarantee we will find the right person for your role, so essentially we keep working until we do – communicating all the way through. If the right match is proving elusive, it may be that the exact person you’re looking for doesn’t exist. Our process would be to have a review checkpoint at 3 months into the project and as part of this review we may discuss rescoping/widening the search slightly.

We also offer a standard guarantee of three months for any candidate placed, meaning if they leave the company during that period we will replace the candidate at no further charge.
